The Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas is a member of the Voyager class of cruise ships.

Royal Caribbean offer a number of different classes of ships - not to be confused with the bunking options on board each ship. The various classes are a means of grouping the types of ships available in the Royal Caribbean cruise fleet. One of the popular is Voyager cruise ship.

The Voyager cruise Class is the classic line of Royal Caribbean Cruise ships; each with a mall, basketball court, skating rink, mini-golf, and a climbing wall. The Voyager Class consists of the ‘Adventure of the Seas’, the ‘Explorer of the Seas’, the ‘Mariner of the Seas’, the Navigator of the Seas’, and the ‘Voyager of the Seas’.

In addition to the Voyager cruise-class signature features - such as an enhanced rock climbing wall, ice skating rink and Royal Promenade - the 3,600 passenger ship, will feature a number of innovations: oversized sculptures spraying water in all directions, a circular current pool and a swimming pool fed by a waterfall; a full-size boxing ring and a 14-person family suite to an eager American audience.

Freedom of the Seas’ combined pool area is 43% larger than on Voyager cruise-class ships. Freedom of the Seas will arrive at the Port of Miami on May 25, where she will make a series of short sailings until June 4, when she will begin her regular sailing schedule of 7-night Western Caribbean tour calling at Cozumel, Mexico; George Town, Grand Cayman; Montego Bay, Jamaica and Royal Caribbean’s private destination, Labadee, Hispaniola.

This ship drew comparisons with the Titanic when she first docked in Southampton although she is in fact two hundred and thirty feet longer. The Independence Of The Seas a couple of thousand seats in the dining room, a choice of nine restaurants, a surf simulator, nine hole mini golf course, cinema, chapel, casinos, an ice rink and fifteen decks housing the cabins.

The Voyager cruise will be different from any other cruise ship around. Perhaps this will be sufficient to cement their position at the top, but then there are always bigger plans in the pipeline, and it should always be remembered that bigger is not always best, especially considering that the whole experience is based upon providing you as the traveler with everything you need, including facilities, entertainment and comfort.
