Carnival Cruise Ship Glory
The Carnival Glory is the latest superliner to join the Carnival Cruises fleet in July. There will be choice of two seven-night cruises - either the Eastern Caribbean, taking in the Bahamas, St Thomas and St Maarten, or the Western Caribbean, stopping at Key West, Belize and Cozumel in Mexico.
The ship has 22 bars and lounges, a nightclub, a gym and health club and four swimming pools. Evening entertainment takes the form of twice- nightly Broadway-style revues, late-night comedy, a huge casino and in- cabin Hollywood movies. There is also a teen club and video game room, plus specially-organized activities for children of all ages.
Most of her extra-spacious staterooms feature ocean views and the majority of those boast private balconies. Like the main atrium, which is called Old Glory and has interpretative paintings of U.S. flags behind the Lobby Bar, the Kaleidoscope Boulevard on Promenade Deck (5), the hub of the Carnival cruise ship Glory where many of the entertainment venues are located, is highlighted by one-square-meter polished aluminum light fixtures.
Each fixture is similarly divided into geometric modules that are backlit with strips of red, blue, and yellow lights, resulting in various tones and slow-moving kaleidoscopic effects that offer a sense of motion in addition to lots of color.
The best kept secret of the Carnival cruise ship Glory is the fish and chips station inside of the Redsail restaurant. Because of the location there is never a long lineup but the fish and chips are delicious. Calamari and oysters as well as tuna and some sort of fish soup or stew is also on the menu.
The Carnival cruise ship Glory is 110,000 tons of glorious fun. The ship was built in 2002 and is the second in a series of Conquest class ships produced by Carnival Cruise Lines. This vessel has something for everyone whether young or old.
